Welcome to New Zealand’s biggest (and best) outdoor craft beer festival. Thanks for joining us today to celebrate the cream of the craft beer crop. We’ve scoured the length and breadth of the country to assemble a remarkable selection of craft breweries and cider producers for you – today they are pouring over 300 different brews for you to sip, sample and enjoy.

As we all know, you can’t live by beer alone, so we have also gathered some of the South Island’s finest food producers. Whether you’re looking for a spicy curry to match with an IPA, a burger to pair with your Pilsner or some kaimoana to accompany an Amber Ale, you won’t have to look far to find a perfect food match for whichever drop you’re imbibing.

Stroll through the festival and explore the many areas here for your enjoyment. Spend time at your favourite brewery and chat to the brew masters or immerse yourself at one of the brand experience areas. Head to the Craft Beer Academy and you’ll find a selection of NZ’s most knowledgeable hop-heads ready to share their insights into all things beer – plus they’ll pour you a few cheeky tasters (strictly for educational purposes of course!)

If rattling the pans is more your jam, take a seat in the Cooking Theatre for a demo from a tasty lineup of our favourite chefs. Presenting an eclectic selection of dishes, they’ll share a wonderful array of tips and tricks to elevate your kitchen game – plus they’ll suggest the best craft beer and cider matches for the dishes they’re preparing.

We’ve got an epic lineup of kiwi talent bringing you sounds throughout the day – enjoy tunes from Th’ Dudes, Borderline, Lachie Hayes, The Response and Amber Carly Williams.
